If you are missing most or all of your teeth in one or both of your arches, you may be a candidate for full-mouth dental implants, with the advanced W-4 Implant Solution, performed by our highly trained implantologist, Dr. Chris Winterholler. Full-mouth dental implants uses precision-placed implants to secure a permanent, custom-made dental prosthesis for a lifelike and fully functional new smile. With fewer implants needed to complete a full set of new teeth, treatment time and recovery time are reduced (compared to receiving individual implants) while patients still enjoy all the incredible oral health benefits of implants. Regardless of the condition of your teeth, we are dedicated to providing you with a custom smile that looks, feels, and functions like healthy, natural teeth.
We perform full-mouth dental implant procedures at both of our state-of-the-art Central Arizona practice locations under the expert care of our experienced doctors and top-notch team. We are the only providers in Arizona with on-site CT-guided surgery, CAD/CAM design software and scanning, and advanced surgical guide fabrication software, ensuring our W-4 Implant Solution patients receive optimal care using the most advanced techniques and technology available today.
During your consultation at Winterholler Dental Implants & Cosmetic Dentistry, you can find out if this treatment option is optimal for your condition and your tooth restoration goals. Our team will use Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) 3D diagnostic images to create a precise surgical plan for your procedure using the lowest level of radiation possible, and your options for IV anesthesia and sedation will be discussed at this appointment as well.
Why Our W-4 Implant Solution Is Unique
There is no other office in Arizona that can combine and use all of these technologies to produce a superior product. Your all on four appointment will proceed as follows: We scan a 3D modulation of your face. This allows us to see and plan your expected outcome before we even start.
- We use advanced digital software to plan your implant placement using CT scanning technology that shows us the available bone to ensure the safest implant placement possible.
- We design your W4 Implant restoration with our Zirkahn Zahn Face Hunter software allowing us unsurpassed ability to place your new teeth in the best possible fit for your face, ensuring the best result for proper length, width, cant and shape. You can select what shape and style tooth you would like, or we can select it for you. We can custom design this with you in our office and allow you to view it in our office.
- We design your W4 Implant Restoration with Zirkahn Zahn custom design software. This software is developed using world renowned dental laboratory technicians tooth molds, ensuring only the most optimal tooth selection. We are not creating your new teeth with standard denture teeth. These are not your standard denture teeth.
- We custom mill your restoration in our Zirkahn Zahn milling unit. Milling your restoration allows us to provide a stronger restoration. There are never any holes cut in your restoration after it is milled. This is critical to prevent future breakage.
- We send you home with a 3D Printed functional prototype of your custom designed new teeth. We will never send you home without teeth.
- We then deliver a high quality titanium reinforced PMMA resin restoration within 48 hours of your surgery. Once again, this is not your standard acrylic denture. You will wear this either permanently or for a period of time while you heal.
- Once your implants are fully healed, we can copy mill or custom design your permanent zirconia restoration using our Prettau zirconia providing you with superior and long lasting zirconia teeth.

The W-4 Implant Solution VS Traditional Dentures

What are the benefits of full-mouth dental implants?
Full-mouth dental implants offer our tooth loss patients a new, natural-looking smile quickly and with less surgery than if they were to receive individual implants. The embarrassing clicking and slipping, and the common discomfort felt with traditional dentures will never occur with your W-4 Implant Solution. Dr. Winterholler can even provide your new set of teeth in as little as one day, using the most advanced digital implant techniques available. The W-4 Implant Solution is popular at our practice for several reasons:
- There is less post-operative healing time, discomfort, swelling, and bruising than with multiple individual implants.
- Patients receive a custom-made and secure prosthesis that realistically and beautifully replaces multiple teeth at once.
- It prevents the bone loss associated with tooth loss and preserves youthful facial harmony.
- Most patients are candidates because bone grafting is typically unnecessary for this treatment to be secure.
- The restoration can last for many years with good oral care.
After receiving their full-mouth dental implants, our patients can comfortably enjoy their favorite foods and speak and smile with complete confidence again, knowing that their teeth look natural. We love to witness the astonishing positive changes in our patients when they receive a new, fully functional smile with the W-4 Implant Solution.
