Discover the Zirkahn Zahn difference with Winterholler Dentistry’s custom made and designed teeth. Our world-renowned technology allows us to provide Full Zirconia restorations that are unparalleled in their strength and aesthetics in a short period of time. We are one of fewer than 15 offices in the United States with this technology.

The Dental Implant Materials We Use
At Winterholler Dentistry, the two main types of dental implant materials we use for our Scottsdale and Payson patients are Prettau® Zirconia and Neodent. Here’s a description of each and why we choose to use these materials:
Prettau® Zirconia: Not only is this material non-porous and highly compatible with the tissue in your mouth, it looks natural and can be easily customized with a special coloring technique. Since it is partially reinforced with aluminum, there’s no risk of chipping or abrasion, and there is a “200% higher bending strength, thanks to the elimination of the veneer ceramics.”
Neodent: Not only are Neodent products durable (they have a 99.7% survival rate), they are ideal for a wide variety of bone types and other dental situations. Because of long-lasting materials like Neodent, we’re able to give more and more patients in Arizona solutions for missing teeth.
Why Our Dental Implant Materials Are So Durable
Dental implants aren’t dentures, so they require more durable materials than plastic or acrylic. That’s why our full-arch dental implant restorations are fully made from zirconia porcelain, which is highly durable and doesn’t expose patients to materials that aren’t healthy.
Thanks to a chemical process that eliminates ceramic layering, our zirconia dental implants are more solid, natural looking and resistant to chipping, breaking or abrasion. The same can’t be said for other materials or missing teeth solutions like dentures.
How Our Dental Implant Materials Compare to Others
So, what’s the difference between the materials used in our full-arch dental restorations and the materials used in other traditional dental solutions? Here’s a chart that shows the differences you’ll experience with each:
